Walter Haynes III, M.D.

Walter G. Haynes III, MD, is a skilled physician specializing in neurosurgery at Alabama Neurological Surgery & Spine in Birmingham, Alabama. He’s been a proud member of the practice since 1996. 

Dr. Haynes graduated from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, in 1985. Moving to Alabama, he attended the University of Alabama’s School of Medicine in Tuscaloosa before completing a rigorous internship and residency at Carraway Methodist Medical Center in Birmingham. 

Committed to the well-being of his patients, Dr. Haynes maintains membership in several accredited associations and societies, including the American Medical Association, the Medical Association of the State of Alabama, and the Jefferson County Medical Society. 

For the convenience of his patients, Dr. Haynes is affiliated with Grandview Medical Center and assists Dr. Pearson, Dr. Robinson, and Dr. Kuhn with surgical procedures. Dr. Haynes doesn’t see patients in the office.
