Robert D. Robinson, MD, is a board-certified neurosurgeon at Alabama Neurological Surgery & Spine in Birmingham, Alabama. He joined the clinic in 2008.
Originally based on the west coast, Dr. Robinson earned his undergraduate degree at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado. He remained in Colorado for medical school, studying at the University of Colorado’s School of Medicine in Aurora.
Selected by the University of Alabama at Birmingham’s prestigious program, Dr. Robinson relocated to Alabama for his internship and residency. His skill and precision in neurosurgery earned him the title of Chief Resident in Neurosurgery in 1998.
Dr. Robinson initially practiced in Atlanta, Georgia, and Tuscaloosa, Alabama, before joining Alabama Neurological Surgery & Spine. In 2009, he was recognized as one of America’s Best Doctors.
Dr. Robinson is currently affiliated with Grandview Medical Center and welcomes new and returning patients.
