Mallory Shatlock C.R.N.P.

Mallory Shatlock, CRNP, is a board-certified nurse practitioner at Alabama Neurological Surgery & Spine in Birmingham, Alabama.

A native of Gainesville, Georgia, Mallory attended the Medical College of Georgia, where she completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She then worked as a nurse in the emergency department for seven years. At the University of Alabama in Birmingham, she earned her Master of Science in Nursing. She is board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. 

Mallory started as a nurse practitioner in the Medical ICU at the University of Alabama Birmingham (UAB) Hospital during the height of COVID. She eventually found her passion in caring for neurosurgical patients and continued her education by obtaining her registered nurse first assist certification. She works primarily with Dr. Kuhn, seeing patients in the clinic and hospital and helping in the operating room. Mallory strives to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care while treating and managing her patient’s conditions and treatment plans.

Outside of work, Mallory loves to explore new and exciting restaurants in Birmingham, cheer on the Georgia Bulldogs, and spend time with her husband, William, and their dog, Champion.
